Our Story
I believe in words, and I believe in the power of a mantra. My mantra for the last year is pictured here and so powerful to me I have it as a tattoo on my arm so I can see it every day. These words reflect my story, and my family's story, and I hope our story inspires others.
In the few years we have undergone a journey and battle of teen mental health with both our sons, including struggles with suicidal thoughts. There will never be enough gratitude we can express in being able to say that this did not happen. It really is a battle and I can say we have made huge steps on the road to being healthy and joyful. But it is a long road and there are many of us out there, friends and neighbors fighting the good fight every day.
I came across these words and they made my heart feel courage in knowing that "Yet", despite adversity we could "Rise" together and come out better on the other side. The symbol above the words is "Warrior" in ancient Greek and it truly represents anyone who tackles a loved one's journey to better mental health.
With our products we hope to share our story and our vision for more and better resources in our area for families who are on this same journey. When you purchase our items you not only contribute, but proudly send the message that none of us are alone and despite struggles, "Yet, We Rise". Together.
